Letter Tracking

Teaches the alphabet sequence and the visual discrimination of letters while correcting reversals and rotations and instilling the habit of left-to-right progression that is so essential to the skill of reading. The student matches and tracks lower case alphabet letters to improve letter recognition. Practice of following a line of print in left-to-right direction and matching written letters is extensive.

Word Tracking

The tracking exercises are designed to help strengthen left-to-right progression by scanning lines of print to find specific words. Sentence Tracking

Designed to teach 'scanning' a line of type to improve reading, word recognition and discrimination skills. Different from Symbol Discrimination and Letter Tracking in that the learner does not look at each letter or symbol individually, but differentiates real words from nonsense groups of letters. It also helps students learn correct spelling and usage in sentence structure. Can be timed to give the learner positive feedback. 8-9 year old reading level. 64 pages.
