Simply show the child the demo card, then plates 1-9 and record his results on the score sheet. It only takes a minute to administer and score the test. Eight correct answers is a pass.

Every child sees something on the first six plates. The test is carefully designed to detect any child who is malingering, while not discouraging the colour-deficient child.
