Dominant Eye Test
This simplifies the process of determining ones dominant eye. The box is simply held at arm's length, the star is aligned in the circle and held steady while each eye is covered in turn. A yes or no answer is all that is required. Full instructions are included.
When children struggle with aspects of learning to read it is important to know which eye is dominant in case it differs from the dominant hand. This condition, called cross laterality, is known to cause certain specific difficulties with reading, writing, and telling left from right.
