Magic Patch

This magic partial light occlusion blurs vision in the fixing eye, while letting light through, so is inconspicuous to the onlooker.

Each layer of film reduces distance acuity by 3 to 4 LogMAR sizes and is easily attached to and removed from the inside surface of spectacles. It can be used repeatedly, making it suitable for full or part time occlusion and for intractable diplopia.

Simply cut a piece of film to the required shape, following the exact contour of the lens' inner surface. Peel the backing paper, then press and smooth into place.

Each pack contains six 16 x 6.5cm strips, enough for up to thirty single-layer uses.
