The Kay Picture Test is a visual acuity testing system for children and for adults with learning difficulties. The picture optotypes are fully researched and proven to accurately measure near and distance visual acuity in the same way as Snellen's letters. You can test vision with the Kay Picture Test quickly, easily and accurately from as young as 18 months

The vision test was developed by Orthoptist, Hazel Kay in the 1980s and has become the leading choice for vision screening and measuring pre-school children's eyesight throughout the UK National Health Service and in many countries worldwide.

Our visual acuity tests are used by the eye-care professions (optometrists, ophthalmologists and orthoptists) plus school nurses, health visitors, teachers of the visually-impaired, paediatricians and others.

There are six comprehensive near and distance vision testing sets in the Kay Pictures' range. Each set offers different testing distances, single or crowded presentation, picture choice or notation.
