SINGLE PICTURE PRESENTATION

For testing children as young as twenty months, or as soon as the child is talking and able to name everyday objects.

To test at Six Metres (20 feet)

Six Metre Book Set

This is a naming test with sizes from 6/60 to 6/6 in the standard seven Snellen sizes and comprises 22 different pictures, with a choice of three or four pictures at each acuity level.

Screening Book Set

This test uses 8 pictures and a key card for matching or naming at both 3 and six metre distances. The sizes are in Snellen and range from 6/60 to 6/3 in ten acuity sizes. Matching is usually possible from 30 months of age.

To Test at Three Metres (10 feet)

Three Metre Book Set

You can use this as a naming test only. Like the six metre version mentioned above, there are lots of different pictures for plenty of interest and choice. The size range is 3/30 to 3/3 in Snellen sizes.

Screening Book Set

As above, but at this distance the size range will be as 3/60 to 3/3.

Single LogMAR Book Set

This test contains the same 8 pictures as in the Screening Book for naming or matching. The pictures are in eleven regular LogMAR sizes and their Snellen equivalent

CROWDED PICTURE PRESENTATION

Suitable for testing children from about three years of age. These tests are more likely to pick up small differences in visual acuity owing to the presence of the crowding effect.

Crowded LogMAR Book Set

This test contains two sets of linear pictures to test each eye with a different arrangement of pictures in 12 equal LogMAR sizes from 1.00 to -0.100.

Screening Chart

This is a double-sided picture chart designed for screening for visual defects. It has four single vertical rows of pictures to quickly find the acuity level and crowded pictures at the last four levels to confirm an accurate visual acuity.
